Strike--where do we start. The government reached an agreement with the union and the agreement was signed. All of the employees were supposed to go back to work on Thursday, November 8 at 8am. Well apparently there are two people that think they are the President of the Union and only 1 of them think the strike is over and that a deal was reached. So essentially the employees that are siding with the other "President" are still striking.
US Update-Christy got home last night and after getting Annie Nannie home and getting the kids settled crashed a little after midnight. It was great to see the kids and they look like they have grown so much but maybe it just that B and L are so small. They really missed me and wished I didn't have to work and they could stay home from school and hang out.
Colombia Update- John seems to be doing well on his own. Today the kids had another English lesson with Fernando. John took them swimming and then they headed to the mall to burn off some energy. He is learning how to fix a girls hair so he said he bought some "bars that wrap around their head" to help him. I think he is talking about headbands :-) Tonight we are supposed to touch base with our agency to hopefully get some of our questions answered. Crossing our fingers that the child welfare group (ICBF) has gotten approved an alternative solution while the judges figure out what they are doing!
